Nebraska Football is playing for a shot at a bowl game.

It’s that time of year again for Nebraska Football. The Iowa game is set to take place, and it will be exciting to see who wins the 50th Heroes Trophy.

Nebraska looks to avenge their loss from last year. Nebraska narrowly lost by a 31-28 score in what was a difficult game in Iowa City. The good news is, Nebraska has the upper hand in this series. They lead in the all-time series 29-17. However, Iowa has bested them in recent years. The Hawkeyes are on a four-game win streak and come into this game as the 19th-ranked team in the country.

Led by quarterback Nate Stanley and a stout offense as well as AJ Epenesa and a lockdown defense, this is going to be a challenging game for Nebraska. It should be a fun one, and a win on Friday would mean a chance at a bowl game. This would certainly be a welcome development for a program that is still rebuilding.
